Cataract Surgery 101 - Which Intraocular Lens Implant is RIGHT for me?

During cataract surgery, the opacified natural lens is removed, and a new clear artificial lens is implanted inside the eye. It is permanent, and will typically last for the rest of your life. As patients, you have a choice in terms of which type of lens you would like implanted. This video discusses the most common types of intraocular lens available in the market in a simple and succinct manner.

Comprehensive Ophthalmology with Medical Glaucoma Focus and Cataract Surgery 

Dr. Lee graduated from McMaster Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine in 2018. She continued her postgraduate ophthalmology residency training at McMaster University. She has since been working in Brantford, Ontario as a comprehensive ophthalmologist. 

 

Dr. Lee is currently accepting referrals to her Hamilton practice. Her focus will be on medical glaucoma.  She will be performing adult cataract surgeries out of St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. She will also be performing YAG laser procedures including SLT, LPI, and Capsulotomy. She looks forward to working in Hamilton and serving the community where she was trained.
